I generally find that folks who go around labeling others as "Drama Queens" tend to be, themselves, the most dramatic ones in the bunch. In other words, those who have very little drama in their lives/personalities generally don't feel a need to go around making a big noisy deal out of how "dramatic" this person is or how much they "just HATE drama!" - they simply, gracefully and quietly, avoid engaging in it and get on with their lives. Unless, of course, they're Psychology professionals whose job it is to give people advice. :-) Thanks to the author for an insightful article. How about not calling people names? Actually, I enjoy the peace of less drama, but I have occassionally noticed a sadness about lack of intensity. Then I look back and realize what caused the intensity and decide not to repeat that behavior. So, now I am in the process of looking for healthy ways to be intense! I've run a kingdom of drama! not that this is the greatest thing to boast but! there is something to be said for admitting one's self-destructive and self-sabotaging tendencies. I am commited to evolving out of drama-life and I'm doing good so far but there are always areas to improve. Always getting better! I’ve been a drama royalty before. I’ve run a kingdom of drama!
