Please don't get stuck on the "Estate" part of Life Planning everyone.  Death and disability happens, and to leave it to the "powers that be" is asking for bizarre results at best.  This is truly about love, intention and making your life what you want it to be.  Take control.

If you are afraid to talk to a lawyer, see a counselor or other professional who can guide you a little.  Look to the NCSF Kink Aware Professionals list too.  Talk to your partners and friends.  Then DO THE WORK.  Make a will, a health care directive and powers of attorney.  You will sleep better at night knowing that at least you have clarified the intention you have for your life.</description>
