The thing that was the most wonderful about it was being exposed to many models of adulthood. It helped me craft my own identity a lot more quickly because I was starting with a tool box that seemed fuller then my peers. I have not had kids and might not, but if I do I would want them to see a lot of people living adult lives in different ways :) Congratulations on giving your kids such a rich experience.
